As a proud Glaswegian it pains me to say that it is an absolute $hitehole of a place, more like downtown Lagos.

I’m born and bred in Glasgow. The city centre is a shitehole. It’s a disgrace what the SNP have allowed to happen to Glasgow under their leadership. The place is filthy. There’s loads of empty shops. There are loads of shops selling cheap crap. And the place is full of drug addicts. There is loads of homeless people sleeping in shop doorways. The SNP have a lot to answer for

I miss the London I knew. It's not the same.

I don't know what people should do with the ratbags that keep spray painting things that don't belong to them with paint they clearly must have stolen because they couldn't afford to buy it. It makes London look disgusting and really sad. I used to be so proud that home town of mine but they've turned it into a pigsty.

Like many towns and city’s there are too many empty shops and the Buchanan Galleries that you showed is under threat of closure Business tax is a killer and so is the LEZ charge to enter the town. Glasgow is a friendly city but like many other places just don’t step back two streets or you will enter a different world 🫣

Pimlico seems underrated but a number of people do not want to live around Pimlico because it is a very quiet place unlike Earls Court or Hampstead Heath and also there is a perception that rents are expensive. I have fond memories of Pimlico having stay there for 19 years. It is a great place and actually a melting pot.

Thank you for the upload, Southend (or as the locals say "Saffend") is my home town. It has its critics, but I still love it.

Walked around city center late at night a few times while working there for 6 months. Never had much of an issue. Scots very friendly. Of course, being 6'4 and 250lbs might have been a factor. Did get accosted by a group of locals who mocked my walking gait and wanted to know if I wanted to fight the big dude in their group. Politely declined their offer. Once they realized I was American they became very curious and wanted to know if I knew anyone famous. All I could recall was Tommy Ramone of the Ramones, who I had once had a conversation with. That seemed to greatly impress them.

The shopping mall could be anywhere in the UK......Did you not fancy being outside on such a sunny day..? Eastbourne town centre has some beautiful streets beyond the tired shops.....

I know it was a long time ago but when I was about ten years old, back in the early sixties, there were deer in Victoria Park; that is, until some rotten ba...ds beat them to death one night. Bethnal Green was no place for children after that.

Good that you did this in the Summer on a sunny day. Most other views of Inverness are filmed in the Winter then most towns/cities do not look their best. It's a shame you didn't have time to show more of the Ness Islands.

Lovely video and I particularly enjoyed the time you spent on Kynance Mews. Stunning little street. I also loved seeing so many cyclists. No pollution, no noise, no real danger to pedestrians (versus a car, of course). South Kensington is glorious.

Love those British pavements, they seem unique. Don't tread on the cracks, great for hopscotch.

Why bother doing a walk around Eastbourne but 80% in the Beacon Shopping centre??? - Bit pointless

I have recently moved out of Eastbourne. I was born there and lived in the town most of my life. Sadly the town has changed dramatically for the worse in the last few years. It is full of illegal immigrants with many hotels taken over to accommodate them. You smell cannabis smoke everywhere. The town centre has become a dump full of drunks and down and outs begging. You never see any Police though.

Having spent Christmas and New Year in Scotland in 2019 it was one of the most enjoyable times, the Christmas market was amazing it was safe then too love to go back again
